New Hampshire Names NEPC Alts. Consultant

The New Hampshire Retirement System has found its alternatives consultant. The $6 billion pension plan’s investment committee voted to retain New England Pension Consultants to help develop its alternatives portfolio.

New England Pension Consultants beat out Cliffwater, Ennis Knupp + Associates and Pension Consulting Alliance for the new mandate.

The consultant will help shape the plan’s investments in private equity; absolute return strategies; natural resources and commodities. The NHRS alternative investment allocation policy target is 10%.
