Eton Park Capital Management has named Eric Feldstein its CFO. The $13 billion New York-based hedge fund said Feldstein, who headed GMAC, the financing unit of General Motors, until March, is joining the firm on Aug. 1.
Feldstein will succeed Patrick Dennis, who is set to leave the firm in September to “pursue other opportunities.”
Feldstein headed GMAC for six years, and had worked at GM or GMAC for more than a quarter-century. He had been expected to join alternative investment firm Cerberus Capital Management, which bought 51% of GMAC in November, but Eton Park said he never joined that firm.
