Silver Creek Capital Management, a $9 billion fund of hedge funds, has hired Frances Orabona as director of investor relations, based in New York.

Orabona spent the last eight years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as a vice president within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where she managed the firm's relationships with 30 corporate pension plans, representing over $20 billion in assets under management.

“We look forward to leveraging Frances' significant relationships with corporate pension funds and other institutional investors, as well as her strong knowledge of alternative investment products as we continue to expand our business,” Spencer Potts, managing director, said.

Silver Creek also has offices in Seattle and London.
