The co-head of alternatives distribution at Citigroup has left the troubled firm.
Jeff Gould, who led the unit for less than a year, is to “pursue other opportunities,” according to an internal memo. Gould, who joined Citi after a two-year stint at hedge fund Renaissance Technologies, served as global head of distribution until being named co-head of alternatives distribution in October.
His former co-head, Doug Blagdon, drops the co- from his title. Blagdon served as head of the private equity placements group before being teamed with Gould last year.
