One of the country’s most well-read hedge fund publications is reportedly no more.
Thomson Reuters last week laid off HedgeWorld new director Kristin Fox, along with about 10 editorial staffers and some technology and sales staff, the New York Post reports. It is unclear whether the nine-year-old news source, which published a magazine, several newsletters, a Web site and the TASS database, will continue to exist in another form.
“As far as I know, the entire HedgeWorld team is no longer, as of Aug. 15,” one employee told the Post.
