Kerry Duffain has joined BlueCrest Capital Management as head of the firm's U.K. institutional business, reporting to head of investor relations Piers Westerman.

Previously, Duffain served as global head of consultant relations at Pioneer Global Investments.

BlueCrest Capital was founded in 2000 by William Reeves and Mike Platt and currently manages more than US$16 billion in total assets.
