Fund of hedge funds shop Tremont Capital Management has named Scott Metchick its chief investment officer.
Metchick is a former CIO at $13 billion fund of funds firm EIM, and has served in the same post at niche fund of funds Twin Lights. He replaces Cynthia Nicoll, who left Tremont for “personal reasons.”
“Now more than ever, clients want to know that they are working with an investment manager that has the experience, the infrastructure and the ability to deliver on a mandate in various market conditions with the products and solutions they need,” Rupert Allan, president and CEO of Rye, N.Y.-based Tremont said. “We now have the team in place to do just that.”
Tremont is an affiliate of OppenheimerFunds.
