Legendary activist investor and hedge fund manager Carl Icahn’s blog was never going to be typical. Now, its taking on the look of a real news source.
Icahn has hired Dane Hamilton, a reporter covering alternative investments for Thomson Reuters, to write for the Icahn Report, The New York Times reports. Hamilton will begin working for the site this month, with both original reporting and analysis. He has spent seven years at Reuters.
Icahn has up to now used the blog as a personal forum to express his views on corporate governance.
