Mumbai, India-based Tata Capital has appointed Shailendra Bhandari head of its private equity business.
Bhandari has over three decades of experience in the financial services sector having worked at Centurion Bank of Punjab, Citibank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Prudential Asset Management.
Private equity is a key component of Tata’s growth strategy. Tata Capital is the wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons.
