Apollo Global Management has appointed Gary Stein to the newly created position of director of investor relations responsible for establishing relationships with investors, research analysts, and the general investment community.
Stein joins Apollo from NYSE Euronext where he served in the same capacity.
“His experience in building relationships and external communication will be invaluable as we look to enhance our visibility with the investment community," said Kenneth Vecchione, Apollo’s chief financial officer.
Apollo currently manages $40 billion in private equity, hedge funds, distressed debt and mezzanine funds.
