Description: Premier Hedge Fund seeks Trading Assistant. Role is a "hybrid" between trading and back office. The primary seat will be on the desk, but the role will have an operations element to it as well.

Job Description:

In summary, the job is to: (1) assist the traders and (2) bridge the gap between the traders and the back office. This role is ideal for an individual with a few years of financial services experience that wants to get involved in the trading environment. Since the TA sits on the desk, he/she will be directly involved in the trades. Very hands on position - looking for an individual to become an integral part of the trading/operations teams. Room for growth as well.

Requirements:

• General understanding of global financial markets as well as trading terminology
• 2-3 years financial services experienece -
• Trading experience not preferred. Ideally looking for middle/back office candidates from a hedge fund/investment bank that want to break into the world of trading.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and intelligent individual with strong work ethic.
• Ability to perform in a high pressure environment
