Tajinder Singh has joined Boston-based Venus Capital Management as a vice president and trading strategist focused on market-neutral trading in Asian markets.
Previously, Singh served as a vice president at Fortis Bank where he managed the proprietary trading desk for market neutral strategies. Before joining Fortis, he worked at the Long Champ Group, a New York-based fund of hedge funds.
“Natty's addition to the team provides us with more depth in trading and research, at a time when alpha generation has become a challenge due to various global macro factors and the credit crises,” said Vik Mehrotra, chief executive officer of Venus Capital.
