Private equity firm Vestar Capital Partners has hired the chief executive of online medical information provider WebMD as a senior advisor.
Roger Holstein, who has led WebMD for the past eight years, will advise the firm on investment opportunities in the internet, media, consumer and healthcare products and services sectors.
Vestar, which has offices in New York, Denver, Boston, Paris and Milan, has approximately $7 billion in funds under management.
