M.D. Sass Adds Private Equity & Hedge Fund Analyst

Ashish Shetty has joined M.D. Sass Corporate Resurgence private equity funds and M.D. Sass Re/Enterprise hedge funds as a distressed security analyst.
Previously, Shetty worked at CIBC World Markets as a financial. Prior to CIBC, Shetty worked as a member of case teams for market due diligence, industry assessment and strategy review at Ernst & Young’s Investor Group Services.

Martin Sass, chairman and chief investment officer, said “[Shetty’s] experience on transactions across a broad range of industries primarily related to high yield, mezzanine, and senior secured bank debt financing to effect leveraged buyouts, leveraged recaps and refinancings will be a valuable addition to the M.D. Sass team.”

New York-based MD Sass and its affiliates have more than $8 billion in assets under management.
