Private equity firm Providence said that Sean Tong, currently a managing director at General Atlantic in Hong Kong, will join the firm as a managing director and will be based in Providence’s Hong Kong office.

Providence Equity Partners was founded in 1989 and has offices in New York, Los Angeles, London, Hong Kong and New Delhi.
