Description: The firm is an $8 billion dollar long/short equity Hedge Fund located in Greenwich, Connecticut.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Investor Services professional will work with the Senior Investor Relations Associate of a growing investment management firm. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, research oriented, and highly intelligent.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Distribute investor reports
• Monitor, process and record investor capital movements including subscriptions, redemptions and transfers
• Reconcile investor capital balances and cash flows
• Maintain and update collateral materials for current and prospective clients
• Manage the contact management system (“CMS”) including
• Create internal investor reports for senior management
• Support marketing team
• Liaise with the fund administrator
• Liaise with the internal operations and accounting teams
• Produce ad hoc research reports
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Strong proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel; experience with Pertrac/CMS a plus
• Previous fund accounting, operations and/or investor relations experience
• Superior organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong attention to detail
• High energy and proactive attitude; strive to contribute and improve efficiency in all areas
• Proven ability to manage a large volume of work in a fast paced, high energy environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
