Austin Plan Liquidates BlackRock

The $400 million Austin (Texas) Police Retirement Fund has informed BlackRock that the fund will liquidate its $10 million hedge fund portfolio that focuses on energy companies.

Sampson Jordan, administrator, said the plan decided to put the money with Wellington Asset Management, which manages an all-cap energy fund for the plan.
