New York- and London-based merchant bank Tri-Artisan Partners has hired Suzanne Murphy to help set up its consulting practice catering to hedge and private equity funds.
Previously, Murphy was a managing director at Delphi Capital Management, the holding company for Acorn Advisory Capital and Pergamon Partners. While at Delphi, she was a member of Acorn’s investment committee, responsible for building a $1 billion hedge fund in the equity market-neutral space. She remains on the investment committee of Acorn Advisory Capital, raises money for managers on a selective basis and does performance coaching.
Tri-Artisan has also hired Tracey Chu as an analyst. Chu previously worked in the fixed-income commodities and currency advisory group at Goldman Sachs.
