Fort Washington Adds Peppertree Execs

Fort Washington Capital Partners Group has appointed Joseph Michael as a managing director. Michael, co-founder of Peppertree Partners, and Tarik Adam joined Fort Washington following its aquiction of the Cleveland-based private equity fund of funds.

Adam will assume the role of investment manager at Fort Washington.

Michael co-founded Peppertree in 2000. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio as a senior member of the investment team. Adam had been with Peppertree since 2006. Before that he held analyst and fund management roles with Allegiant Asset Management and McDonald Investments in Cleveland.

Both Michael and Adam will remain in Cleveland, and Peppertree’s direct investment funds will remain independent.
