The latest numbers from Newedge’s Short-Term Traders and CTA Indices continue to paint a rosy picture for the managed futures industry.
The AlternativeEdge Short-Term Traders Index finished the month of November up 0.88% (12.916% year-to-date) and the Newedge CTA Index gained 2.03% last month (11.19% YTD).
“CTAs have continued to exhibit strong performance this year using extremely liquid, exchange traded instruments,” said Brian Walls, chairman of the Newedge Index Committee.
