Show Must Go On: Downtrodden Tudor Chief Doesn’t Cancel Christmas Spectacular

Paul Tudor Jones is not letting a difficult year dampen his holiday spirit.

The hedge fund honcho, whose Tudor Investment Corp. suspended redemptions from its flagship hedge fund earlier this month, has continued his annual tradition of putting on a lavish holiday light show at his waterfront Greenwich, Conn., estate.

He’s even striking a positive note with this year’s theme, “Believe.” The 15,000-light display, which is synched up to a four-minute music loop on 90.5 FM radio, includes an illuminated nativity scene, bubble-shaped Christmas trees and snow machines.

Eclectic Precision, the Brooklyn, N.Y., company that designs the display, finished the show on Saturday. Visitors are welcome to see the show on Harbor Drive in the gated Belle Haven neighborhood from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. daily through the end of December. Hundreds of cars are expected to pass nightly.

The Greenwich police ask visitors to stay in their cars will viewing the show.
