Altegris Investments has expanded its team of alternative investment consultants focused on independent wealth managers with the addition of Adam Gallegos, who will be responsible for business development in the western U.S.
Gallegos joins from Kensington Investment Group, where he was responsible for business development and promotion of Kensington's investment products, as well as overseeing marketing and wholesaling efforts in the west.
“Independent broker representatives face increasing pressure to find and secure access to quality alternative investments for their clients, especially during these increasingly difficult times in the financial markets,” said Jon Sundt, president of Altegris. “By adding individuals such as Adam to our team, we are demonstrating our mission to provide broker/dealers and other financial firms with a full range of wealth management solutions through identifying diversification opportunities into alternative investments for their clients, as well as superior client services that come with the Altegris brand.”
Altegris sources and negotiates capacity with selected hedge funds, managed futures funds, and other alternative investments.
