Spanish Bourse Gets First Listed Hedge Fund

Nordkapp Inversiones has listed the first hedge fund product on Spain’s Mercado Alternativo Bursátil.

Nordinvest, Sociedad de Inversión Libre debuted on the MAB yesterday. The fund had a starting share capital of €3 million, with a maximum of €30 million. The fund, which is designed for qualified investors, has a minimum investment requirement of €50,000.

MAB began operations in May 2006.
