Global private equity firm Advent International has beefed up its North American deal team with six new members. Jeff Case and John Maldonado join as principals, and David Chen, Bryan Doherty, Kevin McQuarrie and Thomas Weisman join as associates.
Case rejoins Advent following the completion of his Harvard MBA. Previously, he has held positions at Bowles Hollowell Conner/First Union Securities and Danaher Corporation’s corporate development group.
Maldonado joins the firm from Parthenon Capital, and has also worked at Bain Capital.
The six new hires will be based in the firm’s Boston office and will support Advent’s $3.3 billion global private equity buyout program, which invests primarily in North America and Western Europe.
“We see increasing cross-border and multinational buyout activity here in the U.S.,” said David Mussafer, managing director and head of Advent International, North America.
