Interdealer brokerage house ICAP has added a hedge fund manager to expand its new base metal broking business.

Keith Wildie joined the London-based firm from Lentikia Capital, a commodities hedge fund shop. At Lentikia, Wildie was a portfolio manager trading on the base metals options market.

ICAP began metals broking earlier this month on the London Metals Exchange.

The brokerage also hired Barclays Capital’s Gareth Hughes, who headed sales and strategy for Barclays’ LME trading platform, for its new business.
