New York-based Investcorp has added Silverback Asset Management to its single-manager hedge fund platform as part of a strategic partnership. Chapel Hill, N.C.-based Silverback is the third hedge fund to join the platform, following Interlachen Capital Group and Cura Capital Management.

“Silverback is an important addition to our single-manager platform,” said Investcorp co-head of asset management Ibrahim Gharghour. “We are long-time investors in convertible arbitrage strategies and find this space offers attractive investment opportunities.”

Silverback chief investment officer Elliot Bossen will lead the new partnership, which include a total of five team members.
