Wanda Potts, a partner and CFO of Onyx Capital, has left the New York- and Austin, Texas-based alternative investments firm. The firm confirmed her departure but had no additional comment.
Prior to Onyx, Potts was CFO of Austin Capital Management, a fund of funds shop based in the Texas capital. Potts managed the accounting, reporting, allocation, valuation, audit, and tax work of all of the Austin funds. She helped the firm to grown from $4 million in assets under management to approximately $2 billion in assets under management.
She left Austin in 2008 to become a partner in Onyx Capital.
