Times are tough for a lot of hedge funds, but one pension plan is looking to bring a few smiles to some fund of funds shops. The $11.5 billion Kentucky Retirements Systems has approved a 5% allocation to absolute return strategies and will begin looking for candidates to fill the $500 million mandate.
