Jones Day Hires Weil Gotshal P.E. Partner

Law firm Jones Day has nabbed a prominent private equity attorney from rival Weil, Gotshal & Manges.

Dennis Barsky has joined Jones Day’s New York office as a partner. He has represented a number of major private equity funds, as well as working on p.e. transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He also has extensive experience in cross-border transactions with Singapore.
 
“Dennis has the kind of full-service experience with funds, banks and principals, both U.S. and international, that will be extremely valuable to our clients,” said Dennis LaBarre, partner-in-charge of the firm’s New York office.
