Odyssey Investment Closes $1.5B Fund IV

New York- and Los Angeles-based Odyssey Investment Partners, a middle-market private equity firm, has raised $1.5 billion for Odyssey Investment Partners Fund IV. The fund will buy established middle-market companies with operations predominantly in the U.S.

Odyssey typically invests in companies with EBITDA in the range of $20 million to $80 million within the aerospace, insurance services and healthcare services sectors.

Odyssey’s previous fund closed in 2005 with capital commitments of $750 million.
