New York-based VanthedgePoint Group, which services small and emerging hedge funds, is expanding its range of client services by adding international equities and futures trading capabilities. It is also planning to open an office in Europe to support overseas customers and oversee the firm’s international trading operations.
“Over the past few months, we gathered feedback from both our existing clients and prospects to identify their most pressing needs,” said Geoffrey Tudisco, CEO of VanthedgePoint, which launched in the second quarter. “International equities and futures trading were among the most requested capabilities.”
The firm’s subsidiaries, VanthedgePoint Securities and VanthedgePoint Futures, will offer customers the institutional international equities and futures trading, respectively. The firm has selected Penson Worldwide as clearing firm, custodian and futures commission merchant.
