Miguel Paredones, a former vice president with asset-based lending hedge fund Quantek Asset Management, has resurfaced at New York-based Clifftop Capital Management, a multi-strategy firm focused on Latin America.

Paredones, who at Quantek originated, structured and executed senior debt, subordinated debt, and special situations deals in Latin America and the Caribbean, will follow the same investment blueprint at his newly-founded firm.

According to a marketing brochure, Clifftop will invest in restructurings and roll-up situations, senior secured debt and undervalued securities trading at discounted levels.
