Apr 2 2009 | 12:28pm ET

The Blackstone Group today said that David Bradley will join the firm at the end of June as a senior managing director in its corporate advisory group and as head of its global chemicals practice.

Bradley was formerly managing director and global head of chemicals at UBS. Prior to that, he spent nine years with JPMorgan Chase.

“We expect that the industry will change dramatically in the years to come and David will have the opportunity to build an important new sector here at Blackstone,” said John Studzinski, global head of Blackstone’s advisory group.
