Florham Park, N.J.-based credit-driven alternatives firm GSC Group has hired Robert Seery to head its structured finance group. Seery, who will work out of GSC’s New York office, joins from capital markets specialist International Asset Transactions, where he was chief operating officer.
GSC’s structured finance group manages some $9.5 billion in a structured-credit hedge fund, a mortgage real-estate investment trust and several asset-backed collateralized debt obligations. Seery is charged with new product development.
