Apr 30 2009 | 8:46am ET

London-based Numen Capital has launched its Numen Credit Opportunities Fund, which focuses on stressed, distressed and event-driven special situation credits.

The fund focuses on fundamentally-driven positions, either long or short, and is also scouting for relative value plays in corporate bonds, cash equities, and other instruments.

Numen Capital is headed Filippo Lanza and Kushal Kumar, veterans of the European and Asian credit markets since the mid-1990s. The pair worked together at Lehman Brothers from 2001 to 2004.
