Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. has appointed Ford Fraker, the former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and former chairman of private investment banking firm Trinity Group, as a senior advisor to the firm.

Fraker will work closely with Makram Azar, head of Middle East and North Africa to look for investment opportunities in the region and foster relationships with investors worldwide.

“With more than 30 years of experience as a Middle East commercial and investment banker and, until recently, forging public policy and diplomacy in the Middle East, Ambassador Fraker is an important addition to our leadership team in the region,” said Henry Kravis and George Roberts, co-founders of KKR.
