Arden Hires Risk Management Head

Fund-of-hedge funds manager Arden Asset Management has hired Vikas Kapoor to serve as executive director of risk management and technology for the firm.

In his new role, Kapoor will work closely with Natalie Birrell, chief operating officer, Allan Brik, executive director responsible for quantitative analytics, and Arden's investment committee.

Prior to joining Arden, Kapoor served as managing director and chief information officer of Deutsche Bank's Absolute Return Strategies Group, where he was responsible for the technology and risk infrastructure of both the single manager and fund-of-funds businesses.

Arden has approximately $10 billion in assets under management.
