Goldman Hires Citi Hedge Fund, Global Macro Sales Execs.

Goldman Sachs has added a top Citigroup executive covering hedge funds.

Shantanu Shete, head of hedge fund sales focused on credit, has been named a managing director at Goldman, FinanceAsia reports. Also making the jump to Goldman is Vishweshwar Anantharam, head of Citi’s global macro sales. He was named a vice president.

Both men will be based in Hong Kong, although precisely what they will be doing in their new jobs is unclear.
