Viteos Unveils Administration Platform For Managed Accounts

Jun 29 2009 | 8:54am ET

Viteos Fund Services has launched a platform aimed at meeting hedge funds’ increasing demand for administration and middle office services for managed accounts.

According to the firm, the new service, the Viteos Managed Account Platform, provides a holistic processing solution to meet the additional processing and reporting challenges associated with running managed accounts.

Managed accounts have become popular with investors, as they provide transparency, the ability to access funds daily, and the ability to redeem funds routinely if necessary.

“The financial stresses of the last year have led to adaptations on the part of hedge funds to better provide information and access to accounts for investors,” said Shankar Iyer, CEO of Viteos.  “At Viteos, we are committed to helping these managers service managed accounts and to provide reporting that anticipates investor needs. Our Platform gives managers the ability to enter the managed accounts arena with the confidence that they have the infrastructure in place that is required.  This frees them to focus on gaining capital and executing their strategies.”
