Black Diamond Capital Management Names COO

Alternative asset firm Black Diamond Capital Management has promoted Mounir Nahas to the newly-created position of senior managing director and chief operating officer.

In his new role, Nehas will be responsible for product structuring, liability management, corporate finance and capital market activities.  He will also head up the firm's finance group, investor relations, treasury and management information systems.

Black Diamond has $7 billion in asset under management in a combination of hedge fund, private equity and structure vehicles.
