SAC’s Levy Joins Collins Stewart

British investment bank Collins Stewart has hired a SAC Capital Advisors veteran to build a new fixed-income team in the U.S.

Jerry Levy has joined Collins as a senior managing director and regional head of fixed-income, Financial News reports. His hire is the latest in the U.S. by the bank, which has been expanding on this side of the Atlantic.

At SAC, Levy was a director of the Greenwich, Conn.-based firm’s Sigma fixed-income hedge fund.
