Gallatin Capital has hired Viktor Ula as the firm’s director of research, a newly created position. Ula will be responsible for all due diligence activities and will be involved in client evaluation and selection.

Ula’s hedge fund resume includes stints at Omega Capital, LGT Capital Partners, HVB Alternative Advisors and Invus Group.

“He will contribute substantially to the future growth and success of Gallatin and allow us to still better serve both our manager clients and institutional investor relationships around the globe,” said John Youngblood, managing partner.

Gallatin Capital is a New York-based boutique investment bank, which provides private placement and related services to hedge funds and corporate clients.
