Brazilian Hedge Fund Post Big Inflow In July

The hedge fund industry continues to rebound all around the world.

Brazilian hedge funds saw their biggest inflow of the year in July, taking in 8.2 billion reais (US$4.5 billion) on the month. Multimercados saw just 3.5 billion reais (US$1.9 billion) in inflows during the first half of the year, according to the National Association of Investment Banks.

Brazilian hedge funds suffered a record 54.6 billion reais (US$30 billion) in redemptions last year.
