Agency-only global broker dealer Execution LLC has hired Burr Clark as a European equity sales person based in the firm’s recently opened Boston office.

Burr joins Execution from Merrill Lynch where he spent 12 years providing European research sales coverage to U.S. institutions. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, Clark worked in French equity specialist sales at BZW and Lombard Odier in Europe.

“Burr’s extensive experience in European equity sales research combined with his strong relationships with Boston-based clients makes him a great addition to the Execution team as we continue to expand our U.S. presence,” said Gary Cunningham, CEO of Execution.

“I am excited to be reuniting with my former colleague, Martin Dolan, Execution’s head of research and to be working with the expanding team of analysts,” said Clark.

Execution’s newly opened Boston office focuses on Boston-based accounts for U.S., European and Asian equities. Execution plans to expand the Boston office over the next year with additional hires in international and domestic equities.

Execution services many of the world’s major investing institutions, including mutual funds, pension funds, insurance companies and hedge funds.
