One of the newest players in the prime brokerage space is ramping up its team. Cantor Fitzgerald has added a pair of senior executives to its prime brokerage group, which it launched this summer.
Bob Sherry was named chief operating officer for prime services, and David Kim director of prime services technology. Sherry worked in the prime brokerage area at Furman Selz, ING and ABN Amro, as well as a stint as president of asset manager Miller & Jacobs Capital, as well as Spear Leeds & Kellogg. Kim was senior vice president of prime finance technology at Citigroup.
“Additions to our management team are responsive to our customers’ request that Cantor build a prime service capability to help meet their needs, and reflective of the continuing expansion of Cantor’s global capital markets and investment banking business,” Noel Kimmel, global head of prime services at Cantor, said.
