Nemesis Asset Management is going back to its roots to head its asset management business in the U.K.
The firm, a former joint-venture with Lehman Brothers, has hired Robert Sargent, the former CEO of the bankrupt investment bank’s Europe, Middle East and Africa business. Nemesis ended its relationship with Lehman after the bank’s collapse last year, with CEO Pier-Alberto Furno buying out Lehman’s stake.
Nemesis, which was formerly known as Furno and Del Castano Capital Partners, has about US$400 million in assets under management.
