OakRun Capital is taking its flagship hedge fund to Asia.
The firm has registered its Income Plus Fund with the Monetary Authority of Singapore, with plans to begin marketing it to investors in the city-state, Japan and China. OakRun has stuck a distribution partnership in the region, HedgeCo.net reports.
“The flagship OakRun Income Plus Fund has received incredible initial feedback from institutions,” Arturo Nero, portfolio manager of the fund, told HedgeCo. “The fund is invested in highly liquid instruments with substantially higher yields than comparable investments with duration of less than 45 days.”
The fund buys commercial receivables of highly-rated companies. It charges 1% for management and 10% for performance, with a $1 million minimum investment requirement.
