Just days after winning its independence from Stark Investments, Orchard Capital has made its first high-profile hire.
The new Hong Kong-based hedge fund, which was spun off from Stark on Halloween, has nabbed Citigroup’s Michael Mills, Asian Investor reports. He’ll serve as director of marketing and client relations at the new firm, which boasts $1.5 billion in assets under management, including $1 billion managed on behalf of Stark.
Mills was a highly-regarded capital introductions specialist at Citi’s prime brokerage in Hong Kong.
