It took just three months, but GLG Partners’ new UK Select Fund is already full.
Well, its standard share class is full, anyway. The firm has raised £150 million for the share class, its capacity. Investors who still want a piece of the long-only fund will have to invest in its performance fee share class, and pay a 20% performance fee on returns over its benchmark, Investment Week reports.
“Having just launched the fund about 12 weeks ago, the level of interest has been extremely positive,” Richard Phillips, co-head of the British retail business at GLG, told IW.
