Nomos Sexual Harassment Case Takes Deadly Turn

Sexual harassment may be the least of Jordan Wimmer’s problems. The former Nomos Capital investor relations professional said she thinks her former boss is trying to kill her.

Wimmer told the Central London Employment Tribunal that Lowe, who she accuses of bringing prostitutes to firm meetings and forcing her to go to strip clubs, may be trying to bump her off. She said that a man who looked like Lowe attempted to run her over with a car, and told her doctor that Lowe “knew lots of Russians and could get rid of people in a heartbeat.”

“Is it your belief Mr. Lowe was trying to get a hitman or member of his family to kill you?” Lowe’s lawyer, Elizabeth Melville, asked Wimmer. Wimmer responded in the affirmative.

“When I have a car that’s coming at me six times, and I have to run into a restaurant and dial 999, with a man identical to Mr. Lowe sitting in the front seat, yes, I think my life is in danger,” Wimmer said.

Wimmer is seeking £4 million in damages on claims of sex discrimination, unlawful deduction of wages, unfair constructive dismissal and disability discrimination. She said she was fired in February after spending six weeks at a private psychiatric unit to treat her depression.

Lowe has denied all of the allegations.
